I think I am playing badly at the moment, so it's not a downswing per definition. Have to focus on the things that I think it's important. Yesterday I played some PLO10 deep stacked/Ante and run against monster. Even the pots I win I was a dog on flop (Flushdraw vs his trips).

grlm swings and swongs at Fulltilt
After a long non-Posting time I want to blog just for fun :). I cashed out at Party and went to Fulltiltpoker last week. But this site is really sick. The players are a bit different in going allin very often. Ok, I played from the beginning PLO50 with 20$ Cap. This 50Stacks seemed very comfortably for me, but as I know now, it's not. To make a lang story short I swing between 770$ and 1150$ and was back on PLO25 with Cap 10$.
Yesterday I reached the 1k$ another time and used to play PLO50Cap again. And I loose 3 Stacks very quickly. No flushdraw hits. My Set is huge dog against straight, things like that. I don't feel very good in playing this PLO50 most of the time(if u cannot spot the fish, u are the fish :-( ).,,)
Yesterday I played a PLO qualifier but unfortunately I lost a 80% "Flip" on flop to make the bubble. So I skip 50er and begin with the 25cap again. Meanwhile hoping to get an bonus offer from party :-). I expect a relatively high rakeback at friday but I am not willing to be a break even player at PLO, so I have to push my game to AAA+++ again.

beeing on downswing tilt, monday as usual
The 9$ mtt on party seems to be -ev for me. Can't win even a pot! Busted early with AK vs AK vs JJ.
The PLO whore was not so gracious yesterday and unfortunately I got on tilt after loosing pot by pot.

He raises all the time and this time I wanted to strike back. He calls my c/r on flop and has 25% to win this hand on turn. Omaha is just brutal. (In another hand I had AAxx again vs him and b/c a paired board which looked very try (J6Q6) and he shows up J6xx....)
In another hand I played deepstacked oop vs an Reg and a donkey. I was a bit distracted but thats no excuse for the move. I flopped a bare oesd+backdoorflushdraw. Got raised by the reg and coldcalled by the donkey. So i called also. board paired at turn and I ship it in with Khigh ^^. Obv got called by QQ (donkey) and JJ (Reg). Yeah Yeah, I feel hardcore. I felt so stupid, but otherwise I had 25% in this hand (I was suprised :D) so its only 8% ev I gave up :(
Round about 3-4Stacks where I knew to be behind but called anyway against the odds. Hoping for better times. I read yesterday: Poker is 20% luck, 30% skill and 50% pain. So true..

PLO its a whore and at the moment it's liking me :D. I hit some nice fish (I mean really friendly) und they shipped the money over to me. One Stack through Riversuckout was within (I mean why isn't he betting his straight on flop/turn), where I hit my full on river and he can't laydown his hand for 1/2 - 2/3 potsizebet. In another hand the aggro player wanted to push me out of a hand (but it failed with QQxx on a 6Q6 flop). I even made a -ev call on river (for less then 5 bucks) to show how 'retarded' I am. So hopefully they want to play with me again :D.
Yesterday I was surrounded by fish, that are very maniac style. And the following hand occured:
- Reraise Top2 vs maniacs
Ok, the result is not soooo good (CO was shortstacked btw). And I am not sure whether this push is a clear +ev thing or not. I mean in the actual scenario I split the main pot in 54% but win it also against the bigstacks in 66%. But otherwise if UTG+1 plays KK22 I am toast.

skip the bonus although it hurts :D
It takes a long time to collect the 1k PP to release the 1st part of the 250$ bonus. Too long to clear the 2nd part within 6 days. So i cancelled the rest and buyed the 350$ again. Maybe this time I will clear it without shotting limits, going on tilt and what so ever. It wasn't a good start at all yesterday. After drinking some beer i was totally incapable to play poker (obv. mindfucked). I sat down on PLO100 / PLO200 HiLo (!!) but fortunately realized that I am not willing to risk a loss of my bankroll. So after posting blinds I closed the poker action for the day. pheww. Ever said that discipline is a monsterskill in playing poker? It definitely is!
Today I played some PLO25 Hi only since 1 week or so. And I thought to me: Damn, these players are bad. Ok, some spots I may haven't choosed the maximum +ev line but I was satisfied with my game at all (ok flopping quads and a villian who is willing to play with me was not the problem).
Maybe this is the beginning of PLO Hi only days. I hope I can build up confidence for higher limits.

swingy weekend and why coffee is not good for latenight tournaments :D
This weekend was just a mess. A big crowd of suckouts. I was not able to win on friday and saturday while playing plo. There were some hands like this.
It's so sick sometimes :). I think I should be happy about the stupidness of some players but it hurts :-(.
Nevertheless, I was down to under 1,2k$ and managed to fight back through PLO hilo again. Yesterday I felt like playing tournaments and I was full concentrated to play A-Game Poker.
The 9$ party tourney starts very good and I managed to accumulate tons of chips (12k while avg 4k or so). But the structure is not that good. Blinds raises quickly. I lost a 4-5k pot with KK vs 88. Then short I pushed JJ vs one shorty allin and a coldcall. After I raised allin 2 more ppl went allin and the coldcaller got it in also. In fact I had the best hand and was up against AK, KQ, 99, 98s (!!!!). Additionally I met the 3rd Jack on the board but loose the 20k pot to 89s thats flush was the dominating all. (Sometimes I ask me what this sort of ppl is thinking about their hand)
The 2$ turbo on stars war pretty crapminded. The ppl there are - yeah lets say a bit more creative while playing poker. Contibetting was a huge failure there. The final hand was a bottom pair with 2nd nutflushdraw and I raised him on turn to knock him off. I wondered a bit to see his 6high flushdraw without anything but a gutter. He managed to hit one of his 6 outs and I am out.
The 3$ rebuy (I love the pricepool everytime I play this tourney :D: 94k$ yesterday) starts very slow and without cards.
But I was the whole tourney between 1/2 and avg.
I bust on place 2xxx with AK vs AQs.
Then there were 2 11$ tourneys on stars where I managed to play a good tourney. In the 30k I reached the 1st moneystep only to bust against a sb resteal with A9. I got an snapcall from Q7s (wtf) and was history.
The other tourney was the 15k gtd and the only tourney where I was a huge dog while busting. Relativley deep (2xavg) i raised KK and got a reraise. I tanked short and want the AKs and so on charge before the flop and shoved 4bet allin. AA calls and busts me....
The funny thing occurs half an hour before midnight. I was deep in all remaining 3 tourneys and made some coffee. Before I finished the first cup I busted in all tourneys!!! So I know what is responsible for this: DONT DRINK COFFEE and play poker at the same time ;D
