swingy weekend and why coffee is not good for latenight tournaments :D

This weekend was just a mess. A big crowd of suckouts. I was not able to win on friday and saturday while playing plo. There were some hands like this.
It's so sick sometimes :). I think I should be happy about the stupidness of some players but it hurts :-(.

Nevertheless, I was down to under 1,2k$ and managed to fight back through PLO hilo again. Yesterday I felt like playing tournaments and I was full concentrated to play A-Game Poker.

The 9$ party tourney starts very good and I managed to accumulate tons of chips (12k while avg 4k or so). But the structure is not that good. Blinds raises quickly. I lost a 4-5k pot with KK vs 88. Then short I pushed JJ vs one shorty allin and a coldcall. After I raised allin 2 more ppl went allin and the coldcaller got it in also. In fact I had the best hand and was up against AK, KQ, 99, 98s (!!!!). Additionally I met the 3rd Jack on the board but loose the 20k pot to 89s thats flush was the dominating all. (Sometimes I ask me what this sort of ppl is thinking about their hand)

The 2$ turbo on stars war pretty crapminded. The ppl there are - yeah lets say a bit more creative while playing poker. Contibetting was a huge failure there. The final hand was a bottom pair with 2nd nutflushdraw and I raised him on turn to knock him off. I wondered a bit to see his 6high flushdraw without anything but a gutter. He managed to hit one of his 6 outs and I am out.

The 3$ rebuy (I love the pricepool everytime I play this tourney :D: 94k$ yesterday) starts very slow and without cards.
But I was the whole tourney between 1/2 and avg.
I bust on place 2xxx with AK vs AQs.

Then there were 2 11$ tourneys on stars where I managed to play a good tourney. In the 30k I reached the 1st moneystep only to bust against a sb resteal with A9. I got an snapcall from Q7s (wtf) and was history.
The other tourney was the 15k gtd and the only tourney where I was a huge dog while busting. Relativley deep (2xavg) i raised KK and got a reraise. I tanked short and want the AKs and so on charge before the flop and shoved 4bet allin. AA calls and busts me....

The funny thing occurs half an hour before midnight. I was deep in all remaining 3 tourneys and made some coffee. Before I finished the first cup I busted in all tourneys!!! So I know what is responsible for this: DONT DRINK COFFEE and play poker at the same time ;D

Yesterday I played only a short time PLO hilo, where I lossed about 30$. Was not in line with me. Then I found a juicy Omaha Hilo Limit Game on 2/4. I managed to climb up somewhat 30-40$ 4 handed. But I was not able to quit as the fish leaves and although the other player wasn't so good at all I went down 70 Bucks ( Cooler with 2nd Overfull vs his 1st overfull). Maybe I should be happy that he was quitting the game, but anyway..

Hope I feel like playing more poker but I am not sure how to manage this :D

bubble for 300k Token

Yeah, like mentioned above I wasn't able to qualify for a 300k Token. I played the 23$ speed- 9seats gtd (yeah, I don't realized it till the 3rd level that it was a crapshot). I had a very good start (Set vs Toppair) but in the late tourney I lost 1-2 flips and from there on I was very short. I got lucky with K2 vs KT (4-cardflush) and with 10player and 1(!)bb left  I quadruble up with Aces. 2 hands later I had AJo in the BB and the Tourneyleader raised the blinds allin. If I give up the blinds here I am left with 2 bb and there are 2 guys with 3bb left. Maybe it was a mistake to call here. Actually I called and got sucked out from A4o. Shit happen, it was a 160$ call ^^. Anyway, it was a funny mtt and maybe I'll go for a 2nd shot.

Since my last blogging entry I played a lot of HiLo and more or less successful. I also tried PLO Hi but after a stack Non-Showdown losses I realized that I am more in line with HiLo. But maybe this will change in future again.

The second part of the bonus is going to be impossible to clear for me. But my focus is more in having fun while playing than grinding all night for bonus.

I played some Hi-Lo PLO on Party this weekend and was able to catch some nice flops with nice cards. So my bankroll is growing. Unfortunately I lost 2 stacks on PLO25 yesterday due really bad play (bluffs obv ^^). Nothing special -  keep on smooth grinding.

this blog entry is just because I want to post a green $$. Otherwise it's hard for the result-oriented mindset...oooops

Nothing special yesterday, I was not playing very much. One of the early hands was a flopped straight+redraws to higher straights and I got called by 2pair (745 board and this german guy called with 74xx... crazy) which managed to make a boat on river...
I was able to get my money back from him, this guy was so maniac - crazy. But unfortunately he left after donating 2-3 stacks.

I dont like mondays II

There are some days in Omaha, especially in Omaha where you cant win a pot. Thats even more true for the big ones :-).
After a Rebuild to 1100$ I lost about 6-7 stacks on PLO50... There was a lot bad play in it, but 2-3 stacks went in as fav, 2 coolers + 1 stack vs a maniac on hi lo who catch the perfect card with his trashhand and scooped the pot. I think the promo isn't so good for me because I wanted to manage 115PP a day and I had to pay for this delusion.

BUT, my fav slogan is: Omaha it's a game how to handle downswings... So I will go on and play PLO25 (16Stacks for the 50s are pretty few) and search for fun in the game.

Yesterday, All my troubles seemed so far away

Yesterday, the day was awful. Although I only play a short time PLO50 I ran into monster and in a few hands I got stacked 3 times. All my draws was 2nd at best and a huge dog against my oppenents, additionally I played very aggro (Maybe I should give up to mix PLO with PLO Hi/Lo at same time).

Bad moment at all because the new party promo named 'cash-machine' starts today. I'll switch to PLO25 and reduce my aim to 50$ (=50PP each of 10 days). Hopefully I got my confidence back and can strike back soon.
